"Mind Playing Tricks On Me" was a single by the Geto Boys, off their 1991 album We Can't Be Stopped. The song samples Isaac Hayes' song "Hung Up On My Baby". Using psychological profiles such as paranoia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression as a metaphor, the song's goal is to express the abandonment of the urban Black Community.
