J. Cole: Problems

We all got em. Although HOV and CuDi are exact opposite on theirs.

No One (Noni Spitz & Dae One): Unfaithful

"This is not your ordinary love song but a story that depicts the consequences of infidelity & temptations that come with every love relationship." Dude kinda sounds like a clean cut Bizarre.

KiD CuDi: Mojo So Dope

Off Man On the Moon 2 I'm guessing. I like this one more then other recent CuDi tracks but I'm still disappointed with the direction he's heading in.

Vado: Usually Do

Sliiiime! New track from dude.

Kendrick Lamar: For the Homies

Kendrick switches up the voice a little for this one. Old school vibe to it.

This Is NOT Hip Hop

Haha this is hilarious! "This is me, this is how I am, this is a lifestyle, this is it."

Hannibal King: Kill Superman Ep.1

Music from Hannibal King's Villains Gone Bad II .. Coming Soon. Lux Aeterna or Requiem for a Dream or whatever you wanna call it by Clint Mansell always gets me pumped! I wasn't big into the last drop by Hannibal but we shall see what this one has to offer.

The Doppelgangaz: The Groggy Pack

These dudes stage name is kinda weak but I must say it's what grabbed my attention to listen to the song so I guess I'll shut up now. One of the best beats I've heard this year! So laid back, so smooth and so hip-hop!

The ILLZ: Dreams of Life & Beth

This dude is legit in my book. I bookmarked this one a couple weeks back and meant to post it but spaced out. SMOOTH! Sample: Beth Gibbons- Show

"When The ILLZ approached me about the “In Between Video series”, I was struck by the simple brilliance of it all. Releasing video and song simultaneously, as one piece of content, was a bold and strong move. I signed on immediately, and within a few days, we began shooting the first few videos. Simple, often low concept, but brimming with ILLZ insistence on cinematic imagery. With “Dreams of Life & Beth”, I decided to go with a very cold, morbid look. The song is introspective and haunting, and I wanted to convey that through a simplistic set of visuals. Shooting on the Manhattan bridge at 5:30 am, we got that clean ambient light, and complete desertion. Everything was shot on long lenses, creating a sense of deep space and complete loneliness. The video is a mood piece, low on concept but high on artistry and emotion. It is but the first chapter in a varied, complex and beautiful set of upcoming videos, one unlike that of any artist I’ve worked with thus far. “Dreams of Life & Beth” was produced by Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man. Download the “In Between Video Series” along with the videos and the songs on August 17th." – Kristopher Rey-Talley
