I hate posting videos that aren't actually videos but I'm to lazy for the alternative right now. Anyways I'm liking this beat and Cudi's verse is pretty decent.... he doesn't say anything to great but it goes with the song. Worth a listen for the beat alone.

Off their upcoming mixtape Music For the Bitches (dropping on V-day) comes this hot joint! Wow I'm really impressed with this one! It's been a little bit since I've heard a solid song that I could tap my feet to. And people, please don't take this song to heart. It's just a song, no need to get your feelings hurt because of the lyrical content.

Mistah F.A.B. On SF Chronicle Live

I know not many people out there will care about this but I thought it was pretty cool. Gary Radnich is probably the most down to earth 40 something year old dude. F.A.B. def seems to know his hoops and how high was Josh Morgan?! Dude was just chillin.

Way Back Wednesdays: Warren G- This D.J.

Maybe it's because I'm from Cali but I love the laid back sound. You'll rarely hear this sound coming out of the east coast. That's why I love music, it transcends (I'm trying out new words and trying to expand my vocab, hopefully I used that one correctly), period. Out of all Warren's songs I will admit the "Regulator" is my fav but you can't go wrong with this joint either. And it makes me reminisce about that Schwinn bike I always wanted... you had to have one back in the day! One day I'm gonna buy one!

Aesop sampled this joint for his song Daylight (my personal fav from Sop). The sample comes in right at the very beginning.

Way Back Wednesdays: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony- 1st of tha Month

Released in 1995 on their E 1999 Eternal album, 1st of the Month is considered to be Bone Thugs best song by many. Gotta love a group that sings about welfare checks.

Lykke Li: Little Bit

So I'm a couple years late on this one... but damn this song is nice. The beat feels like something you'd hear deep in the jungles of Asia and her voice sounds like she grew up singing in the 50's or 60's. Drake is on a remix of this song but it doesn't do the original justice. I def like this song more than a little bit.

Who'd They Sample? Saturdays: Roberta Flack & Peabo Bryson- If Only For One Night

Atmosphere's own Ant always finds the best oldies to sample! This one he used for the song "Dirty Girl". The sample appears at the 3:11 & 4:26 mark. Enjoy.
